EHPS conversion - TRW Gen II. pump

Overview

  • EHPS frees up to 3-5 Hp of engine power which is lost through the belt driving the mechanical pump, whereas the Ehps system needs only 1 Hp of electrical power to operate
  • Overal weight increase +0.7 kg, compared to OEM pump assembly

  • Requirements

  • TRW Gen II. pump (in this instance the donor was Opel Astra G 2004)
  • custom brackets, custom fittings
  • 85A Alternator (stock OEM Honda is good enough)
  • 80A fuse

  • Wiring location

  • Connector C127(14-GRY) near the clutch reservoir (see the pictures)
  • Battery +12V
  • Chassis ground

  • Wiring
