I really don't know why the OEM trunk wall brace bar is heavy as hell, ca. 3.5kg. It seems like Honda poured some stuff into the tubing itself to make it stiffer? I really can' tell.
Anyway what I did here is simple. I ordered a 3rd OEM ITR front brace bar and re-manufactured the brackets to make it fit the to the trunk wall. And it worked just fine!
Weight saved = -2.5 kg :) , car handling unchanged.
